DJ job description

DJ jobs are not the easiest to find, but if you’ve got real talent you can land on your feet. Luckily there are loads of venues that take on new DJs — including bars, clubs, beach clubs, hotels and boat parties.

Job duties

  • Take requests (if applicable).
  • Keep the dancefloor busy.
  • Make sure the atmosphere is booming.
  • Be adaptable.

Working hours

Usually 8pm–4am for bars and 10pm–4am for clubs — it varies, but it’s a good guideline.

Average salary

From €60 per day (depends on venue/experience).
