The Important Stuff – Passports, Visas & Travel Insurance

Let’s start with the important documents you need to pack. These are the bits that are going to get you on your way and start your summer season without any hurdles. Firstly, make sure you have your passport and double-check that it is valid throughout the whole of your stay. It’s okay getting out there, but what about if you can’t return? Also,  double-check your working holiday Visa and keep it safe. Nothing will be as disappointing as being rejected into the country as your visa isn’t valid.

Finally, travel insurance is a MUST. Don’t leave home without it, and don’t promise yourself you’ll sort it when you get there. Once you arrive you’ll be lost in your summer season, you’ll never get around to it.

pairs of sunglasses

Essential Clothing & Footwear – Sunglasses, Flip Flops & Swimwear

When you’re packing for your summer working holiday, it’s essential to ensure you’ve got the right gear to make the most of your adventure. Of course, sun cream is a no-brainer to protect your skin from those intense UV rays, but don’t forget your sunglasses. Don’t worry about taking your favourite designer pair, after a day of drinking the sun, they tend to do a little disappearing act. Instead, opt for some budget-friendly shades with UV protection that will provide the barrier your eyes need.

If you’re headed to a destination known for its sandy beaches like Zante, don’t forget to pack some flip-flops. These are your go-to footwear for beach days and if you’re navigating those shared shower areas, you can ensure comfort and hygiene at all times.

And let’s talk about swimwear – it’s an absolute essential for your summer adventure. With fantastic beaches, boat parties, and pool parties in most of our resorts, you’ll want to ensure you have a collection to suit every occasion. Whether it’s a casual beach day, a dip in the pool, or a visit to one of Ibiza or Magaluf’s famous beach clubs, packing enough is key. You’ll likely wear it almost every day, so feel free to pull out all the stops and rock your finest outfits – you never know where your adventure will take you!

Whether you’re hitting the beach, exploring the local sights, or just lounging by the pool, sun cream is your best friend for keeping those harmful rays at bay. So, toss a variety of sunscreen into your suitcase – from SPF 30 to SPF 50, for different sun-intensity days – and get ready to enjoy your adventure under the sun while staying sunburn-free.

travel adapters

Technology – Phone, Power Bank & Travel Adapters

Your smartphone and charger are your trusty companions you’ll want to pack. They keep you connected with friends and family back home and help you capture those unforgettable moments you’ll treasure forever. But we all know how quickly a phone’s battery can drain, especially when you’re out and about, which is where the power bank comes to the rescue. It’s a lifesaver for those long days of exploration or nights out on the town when you can’t afford to run out of juice.

Let’s not forget the importance of travel adapters; they ensure your devices are charged and ready to roll no matter where you are. So, pack these essentials, stay powered up, and document your adventure in style!
