Rep Job Description
Holiday rep jobs are really popular, and there are some great companies to work for – from big holiday brands like Jet2 and TUI to independent hotel chains. You’ll often be the first point of contact, whether that’s meeting tourists at the airport or welcoming them to their hotel. You’ll need to be friendly and polite, with a professional attitude to get (and more importantly, keep) the job.
Rep Job Duties
- Welcome guests at the hotel or airport.
- Manage questions and/or complaints.
- Take part in entertainment.
- Upsell event tickets such as excursions and parties.
- Keep records and reports.
Rep Job Working Hours
Your hours will often be during the day, with some early starts. Sometimes you may have to work split shifts too. Expect to work 5 or 6 days per week.
Average Rep Job Salary
Salaries vary from venue to venue, but mostly they are between £50–60 euros per day in Ibiza.
