Restaurant Job Description
Ibiza is a busy resort and there are loads of places to eat. You don’t need previous experience for some roles such as waiting staff, but you may need more experience if you want to be a chef. There are beach restaurants and small food stalls, and most recruit new starters every season.
Job Duties
- Serve meals and drinks to customers.
- Handle money and give change.
- Make cocktails in some venues.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Working Hours
Hours vary, but you may often be required to work split shifts (morning and evening). It depends on the venue: some are open all day and night, while others only open during the daytime – meaning you’ll get your evenings free.
Average Salary
This varies, but expect around 50–60 euros per shift.
